Don't sweat it. You will have two full fleets. I'll bet on it.

The Hampton is full that weekend. Why I like to do these things 45-60 days in advance. I got a deal through at the Holiday Inn Express in Bluffton though. See Y'all Friday night.

Okay folks, it took some time to get it working, but AMYA has the online entry now http://form.jotformpro.com/form/31985990137971

This is always a great event and you can not beat their hospitality...don't even try! Well, go ahead try. You can always hope for a tie. Sun City is all about the gathering with some fun sailing on the side. If you have never been, I highly recommend you check your schedule and make an effort to go.

The Peachtree City gang plans on bringing an extra boat that is for sale at the regatta. If any of the locals would like to sail / buy a boat let us know.
Sail number 983, Robin hull, RMG winch, JohnB A rig, Cradle, Launcher, Removable board, receiver, transmitter negotiable. $1000.00 OBO
We plan on putting a fresh coat of paint before the race, so you can still pick the color.

Forgive me if I have this wrong. And I can only remember the top five.

Alan Perks 18
Dave Linville 28
Joe Walter 29
Gerry Cobley 30
Reichard Kahle 34

Very tricky conditions, 180 degree shifts, very light to maybe 3 mph with a rare puff to 5.
In one heat I went from dead last to 2nd, then back to nearly last and finally back up to 6th, all in just a few legs. If you were in the right spot at the right time you were golden, if not, you were rolled by the whole fleet.

But the party is the real story. Thanks so much to Al and Barbara for opening up their home again, and thanks to Tim and Fran and the whole crew of the Sun City club. You all are the best.

Now it is time to get ready to battle to try and hold on to a trophy. If the winds in anything like yesterday, it is going to be a tough challenge.

What a great event this was. The Sun City folks are just the most gracious and welcoming group around. Wonderful party Saturday night and a well run regatta to go with it. Thanks all.

Alan Perkins held on to keep first place by just 4 points over yours truly. Reicard rallied from 5th to 3rd and Gerry Cobley and Dave Linville had to go the number of 4th place finishes to break their tie for 4th and 5th.

1 Alan Perkins 32
2 Joe Walter 36
3 Reichard Kahle 46 (maybe 48, I can't remember)
4 Gerry Cobly 50
5 Dave Linville 50

There were a number of different skippers taking home bullets like Tom Phillips who 2 on Sunday and Martin Gray and Rick West with one each. The conditions were a little more steady today and we were lucky that the rain let up just in time for us to sail. There was a lot of great racing action and everyone deserves a big applause for the mostly clean sailing all around.

I look forward to the full report and full results. And don't forget the photos guys.

Thanks guys, I had a great time.

Ditto what the Captain said above. Always a good time in Sun City!

Although I sailed as #67, that was Papa Dick's boat, I was only crewing.
