The Grand Poobah has mandated that Brawner, Kahle, Wathne, Rinehart, Walters et al, will sail at the '08 Nats to be held at the premier sailing site in the US, Camp Dearborn. Mark your calendars for September 2008. We may be bringing some former National Champions out of retirement to compete. This is your opportunity to sail against the best of the best in EC12. This will be an event and will be four full days of fun and racing. You don't want to miss Dumb Butt's Racing ChumChili served on the first day to our out of town guests...... Order your new sails and boats now,,,, NO EXCUSES...... Consider yourself invited.......

Don't they have to qualify first?

Sigh.....There is no such thing as "qualifying" for our National Championship. The majority of those completing in Mount Laurel were not even on the Earned List. Even the Earned List means nothing but Bragging until entries to an event exceed logistical limits for the site and the race committee. 37 boats is not a hard number.

The policy is posted in the Administration section of the Class Website. It is not about qualifications but consideration when there is a run on entries for an event.
