Looks like we all stand on the docs and hope nobody falls in when they jiggle...!! [8D]

We are planning on NOT standing on the docks at all, unless the wind comes from an unusual direction for the whole weekend. But as most of you know.... you can never plan on the 5-8 winds from the prevailing direction everyday!

Friday afternoon on the water playing and helping the new local Yacht Club sailors, filled some three hours. Then visiting with drinks at the waterside pavilion and a hosted dinner at their faciliity overlooking the lake. Following and through twilight till dark, conversation on the veranda. The was priceless for us beggars for sailing venues.

These are very nice people and a small group of their membership very enterested in RS sailing.

We have a star studded entry for this event down to never been to one. It is great with a possible show in the morning of 25 entries in two fleets.

This is going to be fun for all.

Now that was cool Baron....

I looked at the photos you had and set it to slide show with a 1 second interval. Becuase of the way the photos were taken, some looked strung together and like movie frames and you could see the boats "moving".

Nice...

Yes, sometimes the boats were moving. Sometimes Gone with the Wind lived up to its name. Something for everyone. Doldrums, 1 foot wakes, B rig winds and a great time. Food, drink a lovely site and challanging conditions. Atlanta in the Spring, could be cold and wet, but this was perfect.

Ditto with Bigfoot. It was real tough for me and my rig timing was way out of phase. For those of you that remember Lake Norman, we had more upscale facilities and far heavier water conditions.

Thanks to the Atlanta MYC guys for mounting a super effort. The Altanta Yacht Club hospitality was outstanding with two dinners, one lunch and two Continental breakfasts. This is a must show for this part of it and deal with the conditions as they may arise. Try to make it next year if we are invited.

Reichard Kahle, John Bottensek, Baron Bremer, Scott Vernon and Chris Kakavas...

Great job everybody!!! This was my first EC12 race and I really want to thank all those that help with tuning tips. I also learned being the bubble boy was, interesting, to say the least. At least I got to practice sailing in every race Sat. I look forward to seeing everyone again soon.

Just to remind all of you...I cannot use photos from online services for publication in the Newsletter. Those posted were great, thank you. I would like to have two of the best 'off the camera' and I will process them. I also need a full list of the scoring for the website and my use as CS. I also need a full report for posting on the class site and a short version for the AMYA Bulleting. All of this can be sent to me or to Tom Phillips.

It Ain't Over Till the Paperword is Done. Thanks

PS: I left my fold up chair again. Blue with bottle holder on the right arm. I am doing Dixie this year so save it for me. 'preciate it.

I too want to thank the photographers. Real fans love the pictures! I am regrettably going to have to miss the Liberty Bell Regatta so please blast away with your cameras. Many thanks from the skippers that can't be there but wish they could have been.
