Dave Ramos won the regatta posting consistent scores by staying out of trouble and starting well. Baron finished second after an amazing run at the beginning of the regatta with four bullets and a second in the first five races. Rinehart was third and gets his name on the trophy as well (top three go on the engraving of the Sir Francis of Graham Trophy). Report and pictures coming soon.

Here are the first round of photos just to get the important stuff up there.

I really had a great weekend... truly an honor to sail among the skippers that we had competing this weekend. I wish that I could say that my performance matched my experienced gained... but I will take my 16th place proudly!

Thanks again to the Charleston Crew for putting on a fabulous regatta.

Looks like fun. How often do you see a score that is the same at the end of the regatta as it was in the middle. What a great second day that must have been! Thanks for the photos and updates!

I think my site has been "hacked"
If you have been to my picassa web before you should be able to see the photos.

HI skippers, fun weekend, as usual,

Thanks to the staff for the hard work and for Ricky opting to run that last race on Sat. :)

I seemed to have left a fleece type pullover down there, tookit off half way through the day ( grey black and white...sort of mottled looking pattern.)

anyone happen to pick it up?

Reichard and Rick,

Thanks for a great time in Charleston and all the time and energy it takes for putting on an event like this. It was a great to see everyone and meet some new members to the fraternity.

Wonderful event guys!

Congradulations to Mr. Ramos for what was a truly exquisit charge on Sunday. There was just no catching him. Great job Dave!

I must also "pile-on"
Rick and Reichard did a super job dealing with" Ole Uncle Franks" light and variable winds.
WE, AS SKIPPERS-NOT SO MUCH.
How can we do better?
I am, and always will be, a middle fleet sailor-but I know we can be better.
If we take our poor behavior back to our respective fleets, we will just make it worse.
What are we doing wrong?
How can we fix it?
We are invited to the most prestigious event in RC sailing and we get at each others throats?
We are the leaders-We really need to be better (and we can be- with just a little effort).
Help us show our best face forward.

Hmmm, the NCR committee has discussed this. Some may hear, "XX please retire your boat for this heat, immediately."

It is protest, acknowledge or disagree with a counter protest. That's it unless there is a change of heart and a turn made and acknowlegement. I would hate to see some top sailor sit out the remainder of a heat
