I was going to tell Bob Greer he needed to come back up for this one to continue to improve his skills but it looks like he has already gotten there. Great job in Jacksonville Bob!

With 10 boats on the line today in breezes that were a steady 15 with gusts in the 25-30 range we were able to complete 15 races. On or about race 11 we had steady 22kts with higher gusts which wreaked havoc on the fleet. Lot's of DNS's and DNF's made their way into the score sheet.

Here are the peliminary scores with 2 throw outs.(Sail# and points)

Chuck Luscomb 84 35 (tie breaker 5 firsts to 1)
Chuck Poindexter35 35
Al Dion 74 48
Dave VanCleef 75 49
Bruce Walton 633 58
Jake Leo 10 65
Brian Jobson 286 83
Tim Stone 484 89
Ken Keohler 92 92
Ed Walton 2028 112

Day two calling for 18kts out of the West...

Got to love New England!

I obviously missed a corker!
Last year the pond favored the pious;it was a drifter.
Look for Kelli and me to see you in 2011.
It was hot as Hades and no wind in Orlando this weekend.

Sunday turned out to be a perfect New England fall day. Cool temps with moderate breeze in the 10-15kt range out of the W-SW with an occasional shot out of the NW to remind us what Saturday was like. Excellent square course with a number of passing lanes. Really good fun. We had 6 boats return for day 2 and they were rewarded. We were able to complete 12 races on Sunday for a total of 27. The final results looked like this with 4 throw outs.
(sail# total points)

Chuck Luscomb 84 49
Dave VanCleef 75 64
Al Dion 74 70
Brian Jobson 286 106
Tim Stone 484 124
Chuck Poindexter35 134(Sat only)
Ken Keohler 92 141
Bruce Walton 633 168(Sat only)
Jake Leo 10 175(Sat only)
Ed Walton 2028 222(Sat only)
