Folks, I am sorry I can't give you a more complete report right now. I still have all the gear in the van (along with the results) and did not have time to unpack when I got home.

The top 6 off the top of my head and without scores are as follows.

1. Dr Robert Greer
2. Richard Hedderick
3. John Bottensek
4. Tom Germer
5. Joe Walter
6. Skip Allen

I will post all the scores and Tony Rieck will have a full report soon.

The conditions on Saturday started out very promising, with a nice breeze and clouds off to the East. But, by the time the seeding races where finished, the clouds moved overhead and the rain began to fall. First only sprinkles and then steady and then on and off throughout the day. Every time the rain came, it would suck up all the wind. Tony did his best to keep the racing moving, but there were several rain delays.

Sunday was much nicer with clear skies and a steady breeze that allowed for much better racing and a lot more heats.

Great job to Tony and Baron and all the staff for a very well run regatta in very trying conditions. And hats off to the skippers who stuck through it all and seemed to enjoy the weekend anyway.

Just a brief thanks to Tony, Baron and the rest of their regatta staff for a great job this past weekend. Saturday was "testy" with rain and very little and shifty winds. Sunday was a typical sunshine state day with blue skies and a nice breeze. Above all, the comradery was the best. Thanks again Tony, Baron and the rest of the team. I had a great time!

Tony and Baron, Thanks for a super job with the regatta this past weekend in St. Augustine. Saturday was trying for the RD, but Tony did his best with what the weather was at that time Sunday, another good job getting lots of races off. Also we had FUN.Dick Reinke, EC12 -1936

my sincere thanks to the Jax crew for a great regatta.
as an RD i have chased the wind all around my lake on too many occasions;but nobody takes that as seriously as Baron and Tony-they were relentless in getting us a true upwind leg!
They and the rest ran a super fun regatta (and i'd say exactly the same with a different finish)
Thanks again for a wonderful week-end!
Did you see the trophies?
Tony threw the pots on his wheel and fired them in his kiln with all the script.
Expect to see this at Palm Beach if I can persuade him with a job order.

I too would like to thanks the race committee for their patience extrodinary effort to set good courses and run races and the coaching at roundings. The rain sucked, but it did not interfere with my weekend. It is always good to see all of my fellow sailors.
The Caddy shack was very good as well as the venue. We were fortunate to have two courses to choose from depending on which 80 degree shift we had!

Way to go Bobby! Best to all of you!

I would rather wonder why I won than to know exaclty why I lost.
