The best thing for you to do at this point would be to get with someone in your area and find out what they are using. There is not a lot to know about which battery to use for an EC12 but you do want to get your setup correct the first time. Some personal hands on would do you good I think. You're not that far from Charleston so if you can't find help there in Blufton come on up and visit CMYC and I'll let you poke around in my boat all you want.
