The Auction is a good place to watch. Beware, this is where knockoffs surface or boats never registered. Verification of the hull is reguired before registration or transfer...Class Secretary.

Am I correct in that if these boats have not been previously registered that they are ineligible to be registered now?

Also, 3 boats all from different builders/suppliers fron one person in Florida, there has to be a story... someone is bound to know who this is. I hope we get to hear the story behind these boats.

Is not the last one you listed a US-12 and not an EC12? Wellington FL is about 1/2 South of PBG. If they were sailed at all, Bob G would know about them.

140208208828: This Ozmun 304 has never been registered.
140208322029: This Hickman 220 has never been registered.
140208325066: This Reynolds #12 has never been registered.

I have no record in searched files of this email address.

These boats will not be registered by me and I am recording the information becasue some one will call after the fact.

None of these boats have sailed with Palm Beach Gardens squadron.
Note Bene: Rick's warning these vessels can't be registered!

This guy tried to sell a boat to a new skipper in the Villages. When he was asked to provide registration information, the communications stopped.

We were asked if we knew who Neito2424 was, but we had no idea either.

The asking price on all three boats is way too high anyway.

Robert, the guy with the three boats on eBay called me tonight and we has a good chat. He was not aware of policy and was just being up front on good boats from the past. We got along fine and he will make notice they cannot be raced. He understands they will not be registered and will tell the buyers.

I also ask him not to take the emails he is getting the wrong way and appreciated his call and attitude.

I contacted him as well and sent him Ricks way, he really was not aware and only looked at the FL EC 12 site and saw the manufacturers listed there.

he has posted at the top of the auction I looked at that they are not class legal.

was very cordial with me as well

The Florida EC-12 Association Website does not list any manufacturers nor does it list any how to info. It simply refers people to the EC12.org site and others. Our site contains information only about our group along with news, regatta reports, standings, etc.

Anyone who tells you they got a list of manufacturers from our site is making it up.
