Still only three signed up for Jacksonville. Planning take work, so the sooner you register, the easier it is to plan. Thanks.

Ok folks, time to get off your back sides and enter the Jacksonville regatta. I will not be cancelling this event, even if I only get 6 entries. We will be sailing. But I am sure we will get way more than that.

Please get your entries in so I can plan the event.

The list is growing, but slowly.

Don't forget that this regatta is also the Annual Meeting of the Florida EC12 Association.

Seventeen boats on the entry list now. I know we can do better than that folks.
Don't forget that George Balaschak will be holding the Annual Meeting of the Florida EC12 Association after sailing on Saturday. This is your chance to come sail and have your voice heard.

The entry list is looking better, but I still expect more. Brenda Pardee is coming and I heard that Steve Landeau was going to come sail his new 12. Steve is a top notch IOM sailor. Other hopefuls are Reichard Kahle, Dave Linville, Chuck Ellis.

Just two weeks left people.

We have 21 boats signed up for St. Augustine. Kind of small for our usual turnout, but we will have a lot of fun.

I don't think we will be able to use the room to store boats this year due to work they are doing on the hotel and new carpeting they are putting in, but we do think they are making arrangements for us to use the maintenance shed for us to store boats and gear.

I will know more on Monday.

Friday evening you are on your own for dinner plans. I am going down to the hotel today and will make arrangements for Saturday night's dinner at one of the restaurants near the hotel. The seeding list will be posted to here shortly.

I am still not able to update the websites since my computer crashed and screwed up the software I use to edit the sites.

Someone asked if we were going to be able to store our boats fully rigged in the small meeting room at the hotel. The answer is NO!
However, we are going to be able to store them fully rigged in the large meeting room that opens directly onto the patio. THIS IS A VERY BIG DEAL PEOPLE!

The hotel manager has asked that we keep the floor clean though. This means you need to dry off your boat and knock off any dirt or grass on the cradle before you bring it inside. They are having a tough time keeping the carpet clean.

I will put a couple of towels by the doors so everyone can make sure their boats are dry and clean before entering the room. Also wipe your shoes off well.

Thanks in advance.

Doc, George, Dick, Jon, Allan and Liz I have your shirts from the Champions Regatta. I am kicking myself right now because I should have come down there to hand them to you personally but since I could not make it I should have at least sent them to Joe before this weekend. Have fun all!!!!
