I note that back in 2003 someone asked if there was a way to post photos on this forum. Is there? If so, how? --Jim Linville

Jim,
Until we move to a different server, we can't post photos. Maybe March?

Reichard,
Are you making your server available for others who want to post?

Be prepared for an onslaught of "How'd you do that?"

Paul,

I will remove it. Quite simple to do but I am not sure if it is something that you want. I could post a link to the hosting server with instructions on how to copy and paste.

I used RC Universe to post pictures of my transmitter mods and then put link to that site in my post here. I guess that's ok to do. Any thoughts?

Posting of pictures in the message is allowed, however, you do need to link to the picture that is hosted on another site, we don't have a picture album feature on the website.

Linking as you've done to another server is perfectly acceptable.

To those wondering how to do it:

1) upload your picture to your favorite photo album link. Once it is up, open the picture and copy the the URL to the picture.

2) Write or edit your message here on the EC12 forum. Place the cursor at the point in the message that you want the photo to appear. Click on the Picture button on the toolbar of the message (it is the button just above the font color button)

3) that will insert the html tags for placing an image. "img and /img" surrounded by square brackets, then copy your URL to the picture between these two tags.

4) Post the message.

Sample below, and also reason why you didn't see me at the pond this year.

When we moved to the new forum software, it includes the ability to post photos.

You can use the method mentioned above and post a link using the Img button above. But you can also upload and add a picture by clicking on the Upload attachment tab below this window. It will allow you to browse your computer and upload a given picture.

Doug, this is a picture of the snake with its skin on. Yes, it's fast and yes, it's loud - and fun too.
