Dick Hedderick can't go. Bob Dudinsky is next in line and has already said he is going. I gave him the NOR, so look for his entry in the mail soon.

Dave,

Al Dion has told me that he plans on attending in place of Bruce Walton.

The next person in line to replace Jake is Phil Tonks. I have left messages for him and sent him e-mails with no reply. Does anyone know where Phil is? Is he down in FL? If you know can you have him call me or Dave Brawner and let us know if he wants to attend.

UPDATE-Spoke with Phil today. He just returned from a trip out West. He is checking his calendar.
Thanks!

Doc,
Those weren't predictions, they were unofficial results. Doug sent me a text from the regatta after it was over.

Go to the very first post of the topic. One of the racers will fill in the details tonight or tomorrow.

Congratulations to Reichard, he sailed a great regatta! Sorry you missed it Brawner. The only downer to the weekend was the non functioning Internet access at the hotel.

Hats off to Mark and Bob on a great run event and many thanks to Reichard and company for rolling out the red carpet yet again. And a special thanks to all the great skippers who made the competition so challenging and fun.

Never have I had so much fun while getting my butt handed to me. Now I know why they say "Fear the Turtle." I should have known that only a true Maryland fan may wear the colors. I have handed the sweat shirt to my daughter and will never again pretend to be on team Maryland.

Mark,Bob,Uncle Frank and Linda,
Thank you for the regatta. Having RD'd a few regattas I can say this was such a smooth event I am really jealous.I overheard Uncle Frank say how many times he has done it;still this ran like a Swiss clock.
Thank you for the opportunity to sail with such a great group;goverened by such luminaries and against such good sailors!
It was a great week-end and I look forward to our next meeting.

Thanks to Mark, Bob, Reichart and Uncle Frank for all their hard work putting together another excellent regatta.

Thank's also to all the sailors who made the trip to Charleston and made it a memorable experience. The Champion’s Regatta is accurately named for the skill and graciousness of the sailors who make the journey each year. I had a great time.

I hope to make it again next year!

I cannot believe I forgot to thank Frank and Linda in my post above. The event is named for Frank for crying out loud, how could I forget them? I feel so low.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Frank and Linda for all you did this past weekend and all you have done for the class.
