To those that have entered or are going to enter, we WILL be doing the traditional Frogmore Stew "Low Country" shrimp boil at Dick Gerry's house for the dinner party Saturday evening. I will send an email to all registered captains after the entry period closes this Saturday with details. Dick is moving so this is the last time his house, deck and yard will be available to us.

So no one has put up the top 5 yet, eh? I get to put it up after my 6 hour drive.

Reichard by 2 or 3 points, Ricky, John B, the guy who always comes in next after John B, Chris K.

In other words, 4th was Joe Walter. Great regetta. Great fun. Sorry that Dennis McEnnerny could not make it and might miss out on the ECCR as a result. He is a good guy and has his priorities straight.

The Joe Walter commment was from some of his past history humor on Saturday night. His wife was in on the gag. She would ask how did John finish. "He won." "Oh, so you got second."

Can you please tell me if this is the proposed site for the Morgan Black International Event next November ?
Are entrants likely to experience similar conditions.
As this appears to be at a similar time of the year.
Thank you.

Ian, this is the venue for the Morgan Black regatta. I have sailed this venue a dozen times now and you can expect anything from dead calm to 25 plus knots. Most times it is nice breeze. The lake is pretty much wide open so the wind has a good chance to settle in and hold its course. On this weekend there was 8 inches of rain the day before, so the water level was way high. Usually there is a one foot drop off to the water. It is a very nice venue.
