I thought I would add that the best thing about the Orlando regatta was Brenda Pardee winning her first race. She did it in fine style too, moving up from 4th place to beat out some pretty good skippers. She rounded the first mark in the lead and never looked back.

The lake shore was as quiet as a mouse, not wanting to jinks her. But the moment her bow crossed the finish line, you could hear the cheers all the way up in Jacksonville.

I hope Brenda will be an inspiration to other women to join in the fun.

Keep improving Brenda, but don't be surprised if the guys are a little less helpful at the next regatta [:p]
