Chicago Model Yacht Club R4 Pics/Rules Quiz

I just thought someone ought to point out that there are a lot of nice images of the 2005 Chicago Region 4 Championship Regatta on the club website.

Hit the EC12 Regatta link.

Attaboy Rob! I taught him everything he knows. Humor.

It is interesting to me when someone builds/races a boat that is away from the norm. Most EC12s are built per the plan and are nominal deck width. Rob built the green boat as a lightweight on the narrow side of the deck width tolerance. Potayto. Potahto. As I remember, Carr lead, and, as seen in the images of #23, nice Carr sails.

Another oddity - sails of the trophy winners - Sterne, Windjammin, Carr, DT, and Sterne. 1 thru 5.

Fun thing on that club site - rules quiz. You can do it over and over and get different random questions.

ThanX for putting the site on the discussion pages. The rules section was a wonderful addition to the club's website. I wonder if Rick will ask them to let us put them (or a link) on our website.

How do we get people to this page and get them to learn.

Perhaps this could be an added qualifier to the Nationals. A score of 90 on the hard section would be required for entry. Eh what??

heheheh.... I remember seeing these guys around the Ready Room that were always memorizing the manual... I always felt that they were the ones that would quote the rules... all the way down.

Aha, that was the problem now thinking back...never had any 90's.

Duh, stick forward and opposite rudder...worked every time...just doing and thinking.

P.S. Larry, got the winches and drums. The 280DL with the "Z" drum is truly the answer! THANKS!!!
