I was just reading some old postings. There is some interesting and relevant stuff. Attendance has been down in Florida and I guess has not ben an issue lately at EC 12 Nationals. There has been some talk of a National ranking system. But in case there are 40+ boats that decide to show up to a regatta, who gets in? The link below is really the one I was responding to, but I saw mention of the Thistle class (deja vu) and is also relevant to large fleets.

Thanks,
Jim
Does this hav spell check?

That was very old postings, Jim. The "Ranking System" is a Seeding List from racing listings of regattas attended running over a years time. It is used only for seeding multiple fleet regattas. Notice of this was by email to the class 25 April with the details. Are you on the mailing list? If not, see the Home page of the class site.

There are no restrictions on the number of entries to the 2011 NCR. There has been a 52 boat restriction in the past but no one has ever been turned down. So, if you want to attend, registration will begin on September 8. The NCR website will be up in about three weeks. Look forward to seeing you at the party.
