All prospective entrants:

There has been an interest within the host club to change the venue to Boiling Springs, PA rather than the location we used last year.

I will refrain from stating my thoughts on this possible change of venue

Please give us your thoughts on this venue change.

Can't come and it's really none of my business, but that open lake you sailed on last year looks awesome (thumbs up). The proposed new site seems to be small and surrounded by trees and buildings (thumbs down).

Doug,
The Boiling Springs site is very scenic and the retaining wall makes launching and retrieval easy. But, there seems to be a lot of trees and buildings close to the pond that may create very shifty winds, especially it it is a light air day. Have you sailed in this pond? Last year's site looks great, it's nice and open. I'd like to know more about Boiling Springs before commenting further.

IMHO... that wall around the lake looks very unforgiving and rough on those with bad backs! A "sling" would be the order of the day for sure!BUT since I won't be sailing....it's not my call! DougB[8D]
