50th Annual Liberty Bell Regatta

The oldest running EC12 regatta is April 1 & 2 and is the 50th Liberty Bell Regatta held annually at Laurel Acres Park, Mount Laurel, NJ. This is a big one with 25 boats currently scheduled to attend, including former Class Secretary, Rick West, from Pacifica, California. Skippers will be coming from New England, New York, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. We will have two days of HMS Promotion/Relegation races and two nights of social activities. Scott Todd, famed boat builder, Chesapeake Bay waterman and EC12 Skipper will be giving a slide show talk Saturday evening at our regatta banquet.

Day One Results from the Liberty Bell Regatta: Weather light rain in the morning; blusterly conditions with considerable use of B and C sails deployed for 3/4 of the day. Last two hours of racing mostly A sails. Great talk by Scott Todd at the banquet dinner Saturday night.
Here's the top ten with no throwouts calculated for Seven Races. Forecast Sunday is a little cooler, sunny and 15-20 mph winds
