Thanks Dave for the posting on both regattas!
At this time we have 8 registered for The Roar At The Shore, hoping to see more entries soon as we’re a little less than four weeks out. Would like to see more of the usual skippers again this year.

As for the J Boat Regatta, we have 4 entered at this time. Again looking for more of the usual skippers, that’s the reason we’re having it the day after the 12’s, as most of the EC12 skippers own J Boats.

Looking forward to a Great Weekend at the Beautiful Jersey Shore and it has to offer before the kickoff of the Summer Season!!!

Best,
Skip Hall

The skippers attending the Roar at the Shore regatta held on May 21st were treated to a fantastic day with sunny skies and sea breezes in the afternoon. The morning course was a bit skewed and short for the pond with light A rigs, however the afternoon legs were second to none on the long end with heavy A rigs.

A big shout out goes to those tireless volunteers who assisted with all the accoutrements we spoiled skippers need. Race Chair / Starter - Skip Hall, Race Committee / Finish - Dave Branning, Race Committee Scorer - June Pendino, and of course Class photographer Judy Bonanno. Thanks to all.

After 15 races under beautiful skies, and cool sea breezes the day was hotly contested by Jamey Betz, Dave Ramos and Scott Graf. One point separated the top three finishers where Jamey and Dave tied with 24 points and Scott ended with 25 points.

Finish Order
Jamey Betz (tie breaker)
Dave Ramos
Scott Graf
Mark Fleckenstein
Dom Bonanno
