I am really shocked by this low turnout. I sure hope there are a bunch of last minute entries. On the other hand, one fleet is going to be great. But more boats is always better. Come on people.

The weekend started with a party hosted by Chester and Libby. Lots of food drink, tall tales and laughter.
Well Saturday's 20% chance of rain prediction was met and then some and some more. But the winds were less than predicted and A rigs were OK for the most part.
Three skippers transmitters were washed out Saturday, ending their sailing, but all would be back Sunday.
The Saturday night dinner get together was held at JJ Muggs in Abacoa Jupiter in their private upstairs room.
Course to the North Saturday with the wind NE and two laps,windward-leeward. Sunday it was a stronger East wind calling most to set up with B rigs. RD Sandy Warrick set a long reach to the first mark at the far North, and a run to the turning mark with a due East leg providing many opportunities to better one's position or the opposite. Also twice around. Sailing in sets of three races with a break before the next set allowed 24 races for the unusually small fleet. All in all it was a fun regatta. Great to see Frank Lignon in the top ten. The persistence is paying off Frank.

The final results:

1. Alan Perkins. 40
2. Joe Walter. 65
3. Chuck Millican. 67
4. Jon Luscomb. 83.8
5. Jim Kaighin. 100
6. Doc Greer. 111
7. Chet Brewer. 164
8. Liz Perkins. 198.6
9. Dick Reinke. 214
10. Frank Lignon. 226
11. Earnan Scavella. 232
12. Terry McMullen. 239
13. George Balaschak. 243
14. Bill Newman. 252
