The entry deadline is 2 weeks from now.
Please get your entry in. Realize that it makes it tough for the host club to plan an event when you enter at the last moment.
I just got back from racing in another class in Punta Gorda hosted by the Suncoast Model Sailing Club and want to emphasize what a great venue it was. The sailing is held on an L-shapped pond that can set the best courses for any wind direction. The team that runs the race is first class.

The deadline for entries is past. But I talked to Paul (Slip) Newfield yesterday and they are still accepting entries. The online entry was not available for a while but is now working again.

The first day is in the books. Beautiful day. Wind could have been a little steadier. Generally light moving back and forth from NE to WNW. I think we had three different weather marks. Looking at the results so far (unofficial and unaudited) The top three are distancing themselves from the rest of the fleet where there is great competition for the Bubble Boy title. In case you're wondering, Liz is fine but her sail winch is not.

In the end it was another clinic by Alan Perkins. Chuck Millican pushed him Saturday but on Sunday Alan was too consistent. Full write up will be in the Florida Association site in a few days. Complete results: http://www.suncoastmodelsailingclub.net ... LIDAY.html

A stunning weekend in Punta Gorda. Sailing was great, Alfred and Chuck sailed great. Suncoast MYC did a great job. Thanks everyone! Have a great holiday season.
