NOR AND ENTRY FEE

Sorry, on line entry is not available nor is paypal. GWTW was started in the mid-70's. See how we used to do it in the old days, print out the entry and snail it in. Or email the entry or bring the entry to the site. Just be sure to let the RC know your intention by deadline.

This is a fun regatta in on big lake, super hospitality. If you have not been to the GWTW, Atlanta in Spring may give us anything.

Another fun and successful Gone with the Wind regatta at Atlanta Yacht Club. RD John Muhlhausen stayed on top of the myriad of windshifts during the weekend and kept things moving - kept the marks moving as well as required with a race committee boat always on the water. Great job, John. There were only 3 people who won an A race and two of them were named Perkins. Good going Liz. The other was Dave Linville. Kudos to you too Dave. Alan dominated a fleet containing several worthy challengers as can be seen. 19 boats.

Wind was pretty much from the southeast blowing from light to about 6 with more Saturday than Sunday. The crowd got to cheer for George Willis on Saturday and Sunday as he won a B fleet race on both days.

You can see all of the scores, but 1 through 6 were:
Alan Perkins
Reichard Kahle
Joe Walter
Rick Gerry
Dave Linville
Skip Allen Great to see Skip out there again, and sailing fast.

Trophy winners. Trophy's were inspired by the excellent work of Bill Coates. Not up to his standards, but I hope the winners enjoy them.
