Time to Register for the National Championship Regatta

The entry period for the NCR is now open. It is time to register for this great event. Dave Linville, Tom Evans, and Chuck Ellis are working hard to give you the best regatta they can. Be sure to check out the website for all the details and learn about the things you can do in the greater Atlanta area.

I will take advantage of the opportunity Dave is giving me to sail 2 boats at the NCR. I plan to fill my 1980's relic with foam and park it on the starting line to frustrate the "bargers".

You need a "Line of Excellence" for the Ramos family.

Only two more weeks until deadline people! What is your hold up in registering for the Nationals? Get your entries in. Don't wait for the deadline and then panic.

Today is the last day to enter the Peachtree City NCR. But I talked to Dave about it this weekend and we agreed to let the entry period extend the rest of the week. But it is very important that you enter now so they can finalize the plans for the Awards Dinner as well as order shirts.

I am really surprised at the low turnout. I would like to hear from you regulars as to why you are not coming this time. Email me directly at floridaec12@comcast.net

Your comments may help me work on ways to make the events better and improve turnout. Thanks

Well we have 26 boats registered for the centrally located EC12 Nationals. We had planned for up to 50 boats. The weather forecast looks great and those 26 who are coming will have a great venue, good weather, lots of racing, awesome raffle items to include; hulls, deck, ballasts, rudders, RMG winch, sails, launchers, cradles, deck hardware, etc.
not to mention the best trophies I've ever seen at an EC12 regatta anywhere.

If anyone wants to change their mind and come to the NATS let me know and we will try to accommodate late entries.

One of the sailors in our group, who lives here in Peachtree City, has kindly offered his guestroom for someone for the regatta. His name is Richard Downing. His phone number is 770 487 2270.
