So far we only have 8 skippers signed up for St. Pete.

1. Chuck Millican
2. Dick Reinke
3. Gerd Petersen
4. John Goldsworthy
5. Liz Perkins
6. Alan Perkins
7. Don Ouimette
8. Jack Ward
9. John Steacy

We really need a bunch more to sign up for this one to keep it going. Robert Greer will be your RD, with me helping on scoring and a few others.
Dee Dundinsky got a fair room rate at the La Quinta, but they need 15 rooms book or it goes back to the higher price. Be sure to go to the link in the post above for all the info.

Folks we are just a few weeks away from St. Pete and the entry list is way too small. I just added Liz Perkins. I assume Alan will also join, but have not received his entry yet.

Let's get this thing moving people.

DagBlam Jot Form keeps putting my email on a bounce list, so I am not getting the notices like I should. The above list of entries is now correct. Still have a long way to go folks. Please register ASAP.

Only 8 signed up for St. Pete. Please don't make us have to cancel this regatta. We have volunteers coming from far away to help keep St. Pete going. Without skippers, there is not much to keep it going for.

We really need you to sign up now.

I would think we need to have 12 to make this work. The cost of feeding people and buying trophies requires it.

We are up to 10 now, so there is some hope. We will make the decision after this weekend.

I am very sorry to announce that the St. Pete regatta has been canceled.

We have tried very hard to keep this regatta on the schedule for several years now. Teams have been brought in to town to run the event over the last 4 years with help from Dee Dudinsky locally.
Unfortunately, with less than three weeks to the regatta, there were only nine skippers signed up and simply not enough funds to pay for the trophies, food and other fees.

Refunds will be made shortly to those who entered.
