The date for the Annapolis Regatta was wrong on the Regatta Schedule page. It has been corrected to October 1-2. Sorry for any troubles this may have caused.

Wow...Tim Stone all the way from Vermont. Great support from way up there and I'll bet he has one other in the SUV. Where are the other R1, R2 and R3 guys for this regatta. They just held the CR914 NCR at this venue this past weekend and the winds and fun were perfect. Go Cart Racing was also part of the activity.....guess who organized that event. This large pond will be a terrific location addition to the EC12 Colonial Cup and R2 events in other classes. Don't take my word for it....come on down to Maryland and see for yourself. I'm in. :P

Skippers so far: AS of 7:42PM 9/25/2016

Jerome Franko
David Littleton
Rick Boulay
David Ramos
Roger Baldwin
David Branning
Tim Stone
Jim Flach
Jamey Betz

The venue this weekend was near perfect. Smooth flat water and shifty winds. Either side could play out. The launch area is dry and easy to get up and down from.

We hope you can join us. A perfect last tune up for Nationals.

Ernest

It worth the trip just for the Crab Cakes. How is the Back coming along?

I'll be the Race Director for the regatta.

We have posted some pictures and video of the CR 914 Nationals on the Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/cr914/

Have a look at what's in store for the venue.

PRO TIP - You may be able to secure cheaper accomodations on the Annapolis side of the bay versus Kent Island. Yet the Kent Island hotels are 10 minutes or so from the venue and very near restaurants ie walking distance.

Looking forward to sailing EC12’s again on this awesome pond.
If the first time we sailed here and the recent CR-914 nationals is any indication of how good this pond is we are blessed indeed.

We are working to set up a monthly sailing session here starting next spring to sail EC12’s, CR-914’s, Star 45’s, J Boats’s and Lasers alternating the class or classes we sail each month.

Hope to see you all there

Dave

The NOR is on the Class site but some have said they can't find it.

Here is the link

For all you skippers in this area, this is the perfect warm up regatta before the NCR. Get your entries in quickly and fill this regatta up.

I spoke to David Hammond today and he is looking to Reg. today
He also has a 30" Trailer/Camper he is looking to bring on site that can sleep two people if any are interested.
We need to run it by the owners but I don't think it should be a problem.
