It has been a real pleasure working with Dave on this so far. I have to tell folks, Dave is doing an outstanding job planning this event. The Tred Avon YC is going to treat us great and you will not go home with regrets. They are going to serve up great food for breakfast and lunch, a welcome dinner party on Wednesday and of course a great awards banquet on Saturday. This yacht club hosts some of the biggest regattas in the country and the EC12 Class will be added to the list. They are planning on having a team of helpers to launch and retrieve boats and we can't ask for a better RD in David Brawner.

This venue is also rich in American history and scenic beauty. You might think about making this regatta part of a wonderful family vacation.

The Red Carpet has been cleaned and is ready to roll out for us. Make your plans now.

See you at the lake...scratch that...see you at the Yacht Club.

I know there was talk about the cost of this NCR being high because it was at a big yacht club. It was a concern for me as well. But Dave Branning has done a fantastic job working with the Tred Avon Yacht Club to deliver their top notch services and food at the same $120 entry fee we have had for our NCRs for the past several years. The guest fees for the Awards Banquet are also right in line. They are offering lunch and breakfast as well for guests in packaged deals for all three days. See below.

Entry Fees: $120. Includes awards banquet dinner and breakfast and lunch for all three days for the competitor. Entry fee and all guest costs include tax and gratuities. Add $39 per awards banquet guest; $39 per lunch guest (cost is for all 3 days); $12 per breakfast guest (cost is for all 3 days). Sorry, we cannot separate breakfast and lunch cost per day. They are a packaged deal.

Yes folks, just $13 for lunch and only $4 for breakfast per day for your guest. And we are talking wonderful food here, not those crappy pizza slices that Joe Walter guy served us in St. Augustine.

The entry form and online form will be posted in August.

The entries are coming in slowly. We are at 27 now. I know the deadline for entries is not until October 10th, but the sooner Dave Branning knows who is coming the better he can set his budget and work towards giving you all the best regatta he can.
