To Joe and the regatta organization team...Thank You! You all did an outstanding job and Tiffany and I truly enjoyed this event. The St. Augustine Hotel/pond arrangement is an amazing luxury that will be missed. It was clear how much preparation is required to host such a regatta and how well prepared everyone was. The bar has been set very high. We look forward to the next opportunity to enjoy St. Augustine again! Congrats on a great success!

To my fellow sailors...we enjoyed meeting each and every one of you (far to many to mention here). What an amazing, friendly, knowledgeable and fun group. I will try and follow up with as many of you as I can but would love contact info from all of you too. Please email me at smfidler AT gmail when you get a chance.

We have a great group of EC12 sailors building up in Michigan who are truly excited to launch our EC12 fleet next spring. We have added 5 new boats (3 new, 2 refurbished) to our fleet in the last month alone. Counting everyone, we are at least 10 (give or take) total. By next season this number will probably be higher, not including many of the other folks who own boats in the general area that we have not been able to connect with yet. We are planning on sailing regular club races on Sunday and Tuesday evenings at our beautiful State Park NE of the Metro Detroit area (Kensington Metropark). We will continue to charge up our region as much as possible over the winter and throughout next season. We also plan on hosting least 2 regattas next season (Spring and Fall). We will get information out on this as soon as we can. Our new club website is kensingtonrcsail.org or find us on Facebook.

Sincerely,

Sean and Tiffany Fidler

To Joe, Baron, John B, Cheryl, Karen and the rest of the regatta staff, a Huge WOW on a great regatta. Your organization and execution on this event was top notch. Thanks so much for your sacrifice and hard work to put this on, truly amazing! Congrat's to our new Champ Sean, way to go, what a show you put on. Well done and welcome to the fleet, now can you slow down just a little  . On a personal note, thanks to you all for the warmth you showed me Saturday morning at the skippers meeting and through out the day with your kind heart felt words, that just demonstrated what a great group of people we have in this this class, I truly appreciate it more than you know. I look forward to seeing you on the lake again in the up coming season. Have a great up coming Thanksgiving holiday.

Cheers, Danny

Thanks, Joe and the Jax club for hosting a Great Nationals. Having the chance to sail with 49 fellow EC-12 skippers was just superb. And let me complement all of you as well. Watching 20 boats at a time come off the line on Saturday in 20 knots of wind was quite amazing. Very good boat handling and respect for each other. I only wish I could have been more competitive, but sometimes it just doesn't work out that way. Congrats to our new National Champion Sean Fidler. Great skipper and a first class guy.
