The entry period is now open and will close October 18.

The NCR website: http://www.ec12.org/2015NCR/Home.html has all the info you need for the regatta including the online entry as well as the hotel info to make your reservations. Lots of other great stuff in there on St. Augustine. It is the 450th Anniversary of the founding of St. Augustine and there are all kinds of celebrations and events planned for the rest of the year.

A reminder on the entry fees: The banquet dinner price and lunched are included in the skipper's entry, you only need to add a dinner and/or lunch for each guest you bring. So if you were entering 2 for you and your guest, you probably paid too much. The boxes for lunch and dinner are for your guests only. Email me at floridaec12@comcast.net if you think you have paid too much and I will refund your credit card or your PayPal account.

For some there was an issue that might have come up if you used Chrome for your browser. Gerry Cobley has fixed this, so please try again.

I am updating the Who's Coming list on the site each day as they come in, so be sure to go to the site to find out who is signed up.

Looking forward to seeing you in St. Augustine in November.

I guess everyone is taking their time on deciding to come to the Nationals. Just a little more than 2 weeks left to enter. The sooner the better for me to plan.

Added a few more names today. Good to see the list of past Champions growing. Still waiting to hear from a number of others.

A reminder that all skippers must be a current member of AMYA or your National authority to sail in the NCR. Also, we do require your boat to have a measurement certificate at sign in. If your boat has not been measured yet, you need to get it done before you get to St. Augustine, or make arrangements with me to have your boat measured on Wednesday, the day before the regatta. We will measure boats only by appointment.

See you at the lake.

I am hearing through the grapevine that several people are making plans or trying to work out travel buddies. I hope they will make it.
They are:
Chuck Luscomb, from up Connecticut way
Frank Vella, from the Motor City
Steve Helander, from the Oaks
Dick Hedderick, from deep south Florida
Sean Fidler, the new Morgan-Black Champ
Brenda Pardee, from Tallahassee
And a Texas contingent of Martin von Wolfswinkle, Brig North and Chris Macaluso

Some other notable names I have yet to hear about, but sure hope they come:
Jon Luscomb
Gerhard Kelter
Rick West
Jack Wubbe
David Dellenbaugh
Jarl Wathne, but I think he is too into his motorcycles now
My own right hand man, Tom Phillips, has yet to enter. No excuses Tom.
Jim Pardee
Bob Brown
Steve Pfeil
And there are a number of new comers I was hoping would give it a go. You know who you are. Yes it is a big regatta, but what an opportunity to sail with the best.

Just one more week left to register folks. Looking forward to hearing from you all.

We are at 35 skippers now and I know of several others who are coming and just have not filled out the paperwork yet. And still waiting to find out if any of those others named in my previous post can make it.

So come on people, just six more days to the entry deadline.

I did hear back from Gerry Cobley and Skip Allen and I am sorry to say they can't make it this time due to family commitments.

I was witness to the kart racing in Windsor, you could see the smiles on their faces even though they had full face helmets on. Plus I might add....they are NOT nice to each other on the track. People knocked into the dirt, people spun and then hit had on....etc!
