One more week until the entry deadline. We are up to 30 boats now and it is looking good to reach 35 boats. There are still a good number of big names and some regular skippers missing from the list though.

Danny Thomas
Mark Rinehart
Jarl Wathne
Gerhard Kelter
Gary Muller
Jamie Betz
Dick Hedderick
Martin Gray
Fred Pfeil
Al Dion
Jake Leo

These are just a few of skippers I might expect to see at the Nationals.

And what about our lady sailors?
Brenda Pardee
Laura Novak
Becky Gerry
Judy Clarke

Let's go folks. Clear your schedule and get those entries in.

Unfortunately Tim Stone has to take care of his wife after her minor surgery. All the best Tim.

But I do have it on good authority that Dave Dellenbaugh and Chuck Luscomb are coming and hopefully a few more.

I also forgot about Chuck's Brother...where are you Jon?

It does look like we will get close to 35 boats, which will mean lots of racing in 2 fleets.

The deadline for entries is next week. So, hurry up and enter.

I can help with a few of the missing...

Al Dion, is fully engaged with his son who is still recovering. I think his timing going South to FL will conflict with the timing of the event.

Jon, does not have the time off of work to make it up for this one.

Dave Dellenbaugh and myself are in the final stages of changing schedules around. I think he is having more success that I at the moment. He should know for certian in the next few days. I am still working on it.

If only you guys worked for the government, you would be off right now and have plenty of time to come sail. LOL
I hope things will work out for you.
Since we are not close to a max fleet, I am open to letting a few late comers, but it might mean you miss out on a shirt that fits.
keep me informed.

I wish I could come, but Chuck is right. I have a Marine Advisory Board Meeting (of which I and the City liason for) on November 7, . I am not allowed to miss these.

I will be watching for the daily posts of the results, and if Chuck can make down there, you know who I'll be rooting for.

One more day for the entry period, but I will give you the whole weekend. I did hear back from Chuck Luscomb. Unfortunately he will not be able to make it now. Chuck's brother can't make it either.

31 boats is still a good turnout for any regatta, but it is a little small for the NCR. I will be standing by the computer waiting on those last minute entries. I do hope to see a few more over the next couple of days.

Okay, today is the official last day of the entry period. We have 31 boats registered. I am still hoping for a few more last minute entries. I will keep the registry open through the weekend, but after that it will be closed. There is a lot of work to be done by Steve Helander and his crew before the regatta and knowing how many people to plan for is very important at this stage.

I am looking forward to seeing everyone at Oak Hollow and getting the chance to sail with some skippers for the first time.

Tic-Toc the Game is Locked!

The entry deadline has passed. We have 31 boats signed up. There will be 18 on the line for A-fleet and 17 for B-fleet once the P&R gets underway. I have posted the list of skippers in their assigned seeding fleets on the "Who's Coming" page of the NCR site: http://www.ec12.org/2013NCR/Who.html

Please know that the seed fleets might change a little after we update the National Seeding List with the results of both the Annapolis and The Villages regattas.

Just got a phone call from Chris Harmer that he will arrive in San Francisco Friday the first at noon. He will be whisked away to our house and set up for his second visit to the City. He will have a car and Bart access to the City with evening activities in Pacifica and likely exhausted when we board the plane together for Atlanta 5 November. We will be in the Red Roof that evening around 2000.

The gathering is at the Red Roof..............
