ONE POINT . . . Naw it wasn't a Dixie plot. Reichard won by just one point, 'cause the competition was so good. Just one boat, perhaps one small lift, one good drop over 12 races, etc. etc. etc. We at Atlanta gave the skippers all sorts of conditions to test their meddle:18 knot breezes, white caps, pollen clouds, hudge shifts, light zephyrs with lumpy conditions, warm sunshine, free beer and wine, floating trees, ending with a steady easterly and chilly temps and Reichard won by ONE POINT fair and square.
