Skip, being the eloquent guy he is,said it all very succinctly.
Joe:you and your well seasoned committee did a GREAT job giving us the opportunity to sail a truly superb Nationals!
There were opportunities to improve your position on every leg of the course and though we had some "discussions" at mark roundings;I am still pleased with our overall performance.
We have work to do,but we are getting better at sailing clean and fair.
We have new leadership at both CS (Joe Walter) and Florida(Richard Hederick) and these gentleman will lead us to new heights.
I thank Ric West for bringing us to where we are;he has tirelessly dragged us (often kicking and screaming) to the envy of many, may I say most,of the AMYA classes.
It was a wonderful regatta and I so enjoyed sailing with all the skippers.
Now I'll try to sort through 991 pictures to post on Picassa.
Thank you Karen Luscomb for photos.

80 images shot by my wife Susan. It was a great regatta and went off like clockwork. I hope someone thanked the caterers. :D

Again thank you Joe and his team.

I guess the default is for only me to see it. I made it public. Thanks for the heads up Tim.

What a great Regatta! That venue is fantastic. It is an EC-12 Resort!.

The weather and Race management were outstanding. Thanks to Joe, Baron, Bud, Pat, Karen and all that helped.

Congrats to Dave Ramos for an extremely well sailed regatta.

Looking forward to Punta Gorda!

Jon

Joe Walter...Job Well Done.
I love the venue and the facilities, the Bald Eagle/Osprey battle and the conduct of the racing. The whole set up, with your organization and management is the best along with Charleston's James Island venue and the Commodores Inn's mini pond venue at Stowe VT. They are the best we have in the class for an overall event and social gathering. However, you need to fix this airline mess or burn Atlanta to the ground again. Where is Sherman when we need him...and start over.

See y'all at Sun City in the Low Country. Let's close the Dixie Series with a blowout and make them work hard for two fleets.

It was a fun weekend with beautiful weather. Joe and crew worked their butts off to make the best out of the wind direction with frequent course changes. Great job! The laid back atmosphere of the venue can't be beat. I parked my truck on Wednesday and did not drive until Sunday. Perfect for partying! Thanks again to the staff and Congratulations to Ramos for completely owning the regatta from beginning to end.

Thank you Rick West and congratulations to Joe Walter and the JMYC team/committee who put on a great show for us skippers. An individual thanks to Baron Bremer who handled my boat as much as I did in this regatta. He was a tireless worker. I learned a lot in my first nationals and enjoyed meeting the southern folks as well as renewing competition with the yankees we see more often. Congratulations to Dave Ramos and the 24 other skippers who kicked my butt.....I shall try harder and return in 2013. :P

Photos are finally posted.

Many thanks to Tom Evens and John Garver for some very nice photos of the regatta. Doc Greer and Karen Luscomb also took lots of photos, but the SIM Card was corrupted. If Doc has another copy, we will try to get those posted as well.
