Hi Danny & All,
Triangle cup was a small, intimate affair (?) with 11 skippers registered and 10 sailing. Where were you Mervin? We missed you...
Burlington, Greensboro and Elon sent a strong team down, but it was Jack Ward who had a great regatta and ended up taking his first EC12 win.
Bob Sczepanski did a great job as RD, assisted on the scoresheets by his lovely wife Karen.
Winds were borderline B on Saturday and swirling round the point to our east creating some interesting shifts. Sunday was much calmer.
My experience was, shall we say, frustrating. 5 last place/DNF with boat problems is not the way I had planned on starting the regatta!
