Thanks Martin for getting the thread going. We only have 4 signed up so far. I will post a list as it builds.

Bud Cassidy will be your RD with Martin Gray assisting. Angie Bottensek and Trish Gray will be the scorekeepers and I know we will have a few other helpers to thank along the way.

Day 1 of racing in St. Augustine is complete. 16 heats in near perfect conditions. The wind started in the A-rig range but after 6 heats it was solid B-rigs for the rest of the day. Alan Perkins was the star of the day. No matter how hard we tried to foul him, force him over early, or have his request for a hold denied, he just kept coming back to the front. Baron Bremer rallied late in the day to leap frog over me and Jack Ward is holding on to 4th place.

These scores show two throw outs that may change tomorrow.

1 Alan Perkins. 39
2 Baron Bremer 47
3 Joe Walter 61
4 Jack Ward 74
5 Dick Hedderick 76
6 Bob Dudinsky 87
7 Jim Kaighin 97
8 Bud Elder 103.4
9 Tom Phillips 104
10 Carter Cain 113
11 Ricky Gerry 136
12 Brenda Pardee 137
13 Tom Germer 147
14 Dan Pearce 168
15 Dick Gerry 173
16 Dick Reinke 193
17 Jim Pardee 194

The Jacskonville Regatta in St. Augustine was a terrific success. Thank you to all the helpers and sorry if I miss any of them. They are Bud Cassidy, Kelly Cassidy, Martin and Trish Gray, Rick Noddin, Brenda Pardee, Tom Germer, Tom Phillips, Baron and Cheryl Bremer, Martin's sister who's name escapes me, sorry, and Brenda's mother and father. Others helped out as well with little things like following Baron to let him know of any fouls. They were Rick Noddin, John Bottensek, Emily Walter, Liz Perkins and Karen Luscomb. Dee Dundinsky lent a hand at lunch as well.

Bud did a great job as RD and we had a fantastic race in great winds both days. Congratulation to Alan Perkins for his 5th win of the season and he had to throw one of them out. He is the Florida Champion and it is well deserved.

1 Alan Perkins. 58.8
2 Baron Bremer 77
3 Dick Hedderick 110
4 Joe Walter 111
5 Jack Ward 118 Ancient Mariner winner
6 Bob Dudinsky 146
7 Carter Cain 173
8 Jim Kaighin 174
9 Tom Germer 207
10 Ricky Gerry 209
11 Tom Phillips 211
12 Bud Elder 213.4
13 Brenda Pardee 246
14 Dan Pearce 273
15 Dick Gerry 275
16 Dick Reinke 282
17 Jim Pardee 356 Did not sail on Sunday.

Well done Joe, you have a great team in Jacksonville and they ran a fantastic regatta getting in enough races so we could all drop our worst three disasters. It was a great finalie to the Florida Season and looking at the Florida Championship trophy I'm very proud to be follow so many great past champions. Not sure wot we all now do for the summer but can't wait till the fall and the start of the next season.
The Florida Championship had 50 skippers participating over the 7 regattas maybe one day we will get the all sailing together at one venue, wot a sight that would be.
Many thanks again cu all soon. Have a great summer wherever you may be spending it.
Now it's down to planning for Australia. !!!!!
