Brenda Pardee is RD...Jim Pardee and Baron will be in charge of setting course. Baron is "calling" the starts (writing on clip board-Brenda will be his voice). Ken Morrison is US Sailing Judge. Finish committee includes IOM sailor (previous ec12 sailor "back in the days"), Robbie Susan Chandler and Brenda's sister; Scoring committee is Brenda's mom and step-dad (both experienced big boat and ec12 sailors) Dee will watch over them and offer advice. Dee also arranged lunch from Checkers (Thanks Dee!) Rescue boat is Brenda's brother-in-law. All these people are from out of town (except for Dee) so that shows you guys how much you are loved!!! (Motel rooms aren't cheap) Hopefully we will have a slew of entries because as of this minute there are five.

Hi Brenda,

My entry is in the post.

Looks like you are all geared up with staff for a great event.

Hopefully the weather will cooperate and we will have a long windward leg.

A list of entries would be nice to see.

see you soon,

Martin & Trish

Folks, Please. I do not want to become a moderator with snips. This is not a chat forum and not provided for this use. Please use email, the forum private messaging feature or posted messaging for things other than the business of the regatta or by those organizing the event.

This is a discussion forum and has allowed this section to hype and post specific items regarding regatta. Your cooperation would be appreciated.

Skippers Freedom Park is a great place to sail (except the fish/duck feeder), has plenty of shade, gentle sloping banks And bathrooms close by. Plus, as an added bonus, if you get to the pond early enough, there is a great outdoor adult exercise area (as if the sailing competition isn't enough to get your blood racing! ).

PS. I also just got Black Chevrons from AMYA Regatta Coordinator, Ernest Thorpe (plus instructions on how to display them proudly). Thanks Ernest!

Well everyone our deadline is almost here....just a few more hours. So it looks like the St. Pete regatta will be quite the exclusive event.
