Eat, drink, sail, eat, drink, sail....
On Friday Jauary 13th, Laura and Frankie Novak have graciously invited all skippers to a BYOB party at their home starting at 6 PM. Please plan to attend. There will be plenty of food, so you won't have to get dinner afterward. Their home is at :
The Strand Community

Naples, FL
Take Interstate 75 to exit 111, Immokalee Rd.
Go West on Immokalee to first intersection, Strand Blvd.
Turn right and go to gate and give your name.
Go about 1 1/2 miles to Amberwood preserve on Left.
Turn left onto Barclay Lane and then immediate right onto Amberwood Drive
Go to third house on left.

I'll send an email after you register, to see how many will attend. Plan to be there!

Doc,
I called the Best Western and the Manager, Greg confirmed the Rate of $59......
Please try again. Maybe it wasn't in the system yet.
There are several Best Western's around Naples.
Use the phone number at the beginning of this post.
If you have any problems ask for the Manager, Greg.
Sorry for any inconvenience.

The Dinner Saturday night January 14th will be at Giovanni of Naples. This is a good, but modest priced Italian restaurant located in the shopping center right next to the sailing site. Laura Novak has arranged for a separate room for us all. If you want to scan the menu go to

Here is the list of attendees so far. The asterisked names have actually registered. Others listed have advised they will come.
Two sailmakers will be attending. Bob Szczepanski of Sirius sails and John Bottensek of John B sails. Many of you have sails from these two great guys, so this is your chance to meet and talk with them . Both will be at the Friday night party as well as the dinner Saturday night. We really appreciate that Bob Szczepanski is traveling all the way down to be here and it is good to see John Bottensek back in regattas again.
Also attending will be former National champion Gerhard ( a bit Rusty) Kelter and our own Florida champion Baron Bremer.
If you haven't registered yet, you can do so ONLINE or by mail by going to:
