Jack:

My check went in the mail this morning. Looking forward to seeing all of you. Have a happy turkey day!

I would rather wonder why I won than to know exaclty why I lost.

This is an informational posting here of a specific regatta pending. It would be helpful to those registered in the regatta to be listed here with a number that leads to a total. Then people can look and see without effort how many are registered for the event. The order does not matter as long as there a total shown.

It is really good for the organizer to post this and other things about the event for marketing the regatta. Just being on the class schedule does not draw people to your reagatta.

If you really want to have an attended regatta, you need to hype it with information. Get into the marketing world and your members will respond.

What great pictures. Looks like you had a super Regatta. A lot of beautiful boats but it sure looks like you guys and gals play rough down there. Looking forward to retiring and coming down to race. Congrats on your race.

Rick: There was some touching, but it was a short race track with big breeze and hard for boats to get separation on the shifts. With that, I was pleased to see better compliance and much less chatting. With a little longer track the bumping would have not been a problem. R/C did a good job as usual for this regatta. Punta Gorda is a neat place to sail and Saturday's dinner was fun. I'll be back next year!
