Alan: My check is in the mail. We are, as usual, looking forward to seeing eveyone and sailing. The Villages have always been an awsome place to sail. Can't wait until your party! Is the eternally beautiful Becky and your future son - in - law Ricky coming to town? HOPE SO!

Best,

JBL

Sorry folks, poor Internet connection has made for a hard time posting the results.

All I can tell you for day one is this:
1. Joe Walter 51.4
2. Dick Hedderick 56.2
3. Jon Luscomb 74
4. Rick Gerry 76
5. Baron Bremer 89
6. Bob Greer 94

I wish I could tell you more. We will have the full results up by the end of the day.

Good breeze but not from the favored West direction. One fleet of 20 boats looked scary at first, but folks settled in and things went well for the most part. Alan Perkins did a great job of setting a course to give us at least a small windward beat, but it was mostly reaching. Good starts were important, but a well timed wind shift could save your race or wreck it.
