Dear Mr. Zapruder:
What a great video. It certainly shows me at my worst. Going frame by frame, I can now understand what happened with the benefit of a zoom lens from a different angle. I had totally lost the boat in the crowd for about 20 seconds starting about 7:13. The next thing I saw of my boat was it coming around the mark. I am well aware that nothing good ever happens when you can't see your boat.

Just before the offset mark Bob let me know what happened and then off to do penalty turns I went. It would be difficult for me to be any more wrong in that incident.

This video channel is great idea.

Marc,

Send any digital video to Ernest as he is the moderator of the EC12 Channel at the moment.

Next Nationals we will have T2P and Tucker Thompson doing the live streaming video from ST Augustine so you can see the racing and all the goofs as they happen and then those watching at home can text those skippers during the race... HEY, DO A TURN! Holy crap. I am thinking this is not such a good idea...

Dave, when I saw that the videos were posted, I thought, I hope they did not catch me at my not so finest hour!

Tom P, is it possible to post a link to the You Tube Channel on the front page with what is showing now? We can update it as we go.

The class has had around 2000 photos for the 2011 Nationals. Some of these have been sorted to where I think they should go and pared them down to about half. Days 1-3 have been put up and the last day will be edited and up tomorrow 21 November.

Go to the class site on the NCR sub site and you will find the links on with the results.

Rick, I have finally come up for air after all the stuff that has happened to me since coming home from the Nationals.

I just want to say what a great event you and your team put on in Charleston. Everything was fantastic. Give yourself a big pat on the back. Putting on an event like this takes so much work that really goes unnoticed and too often unappreciated. You have raised the bar and it will be a very hard act to follow.

Hats off to you and Marrilee, Tom G, Tom P, Bud, Skip, Bob and Dee, and whoever else I missed.
