J Class 2010 Nationals

There are many in the EC12 Class that are also racing J Class boats.

<b>J Class Nationals</b> are schedule for September 24-26 at Vernon Hill just north of Chicago. This will be a registration and practice day followed by two days of racing.

The only thing better than Gerhard's sailing was the hospitality of the Chicago MYC. Here are the final results after 15 races with two throwouts.

First we would like to thank the J Boat skippers for letting us host the J Boat Nationals in Chicago the "windy" city, we would not have had such a great regatta with out you guys, here's a link for some pictures, more to come later

David,

When possible could you add the name of the boat each skipper was sailing? That would be good information. I know there were at least a couple of Shamrocks V and Rangers.

Ken Young put a short video on U-Tube (13min.) today, Ken took about 3hr. of video at the regatta, we will be sending all the skippers a DVD after he gets a chance to edit it, also a CD with all the pictures that we can locate.

Just a last note, we had a award ceremony at the lake a week ago for the "BOOT GUYS" for the J Boats, Allan Thorson & Mike Marten where given T shirts, I think these guys did a great job.
