The NOR and Entry Form for both the J Class Region 1 Championships (Thursday and Friday August 12th and 13th ) and the EC 12 Region 1 Championships (Saturday and Sunday August 14th and 15th ) are now posted on the regatta page.

If there are room problems at Mystic on 95, check out the frontage road in New London. It is only 8 miles with easy access to the road. I always stay at the Red Roof there.

J Class final in unfarvored east winds was hard foughtin fluky conditions.
First: Chuck Luscomb in an older Ranger.
Second: Bruce Walton in an older Ranger.
Third: David Brawner in a Shamrock V.
Fourth: Biff Martin in a older Ranger.
Fifth: Rick West in a Shamrock V.

After a tough day of shifty winds on day 1 of the EC12 Region 1 Championships, the top three look like this with two throw outs.

1-Dave Ramos 40pts
2-Chuck Luscomb 41pts
3-Rick West 44pts


Final day tomorrow with lots of opportunities for changes in the leader board

Another very difficult day with the wind shifting 40-60degrees just below the weather mark kept the fleet guessing all day.

After two days of very solid racing and a good effort by all who attended, the top 5 looked like this...

1-Dave Ramos

3-Chuck Luscomb
4-Jake Leo
5-Chuck Poindexter
