Just formed is a gathering in Charleston by the EC12 J players with enthusiasts and friends for July 10-11. 6 have indicated and expecting 10 or more with several new boats

Anyone not hearing of this and would like to come, post here and it will be pasted on. This is not an official event but one for testing and tuning in preparation for the NCR at Chicago in late September. Of course there will be a clock and clipboard. Dah-lin of the Viking Racing Team is the playground leader. This a great chance for you boys in Florida that have not had a chance to sail with a group. So it is...Y'all Come.

We had 7 competitors for what started out as a shakedown of new boats and old stale one from last year to a Region 3 Champs. We had great sailing at James Island in Charleston despite the heat. Much was discovered individually about our boats in prep for Mystic next month and the J NCR in late September in Chicago.

18 races were completed and all boats finished the event but with a few DNS scores.
