Wisteria Cup Regatta / Charleston, SC

Charleston Model Yacht Club's 22nd Annual Wisteria Cup Regatta is almost here, scheduled on the weekend of October 24th and 25th. The dead line for registering is the 17th so get them in. Here is the list of skippers so far.

All 18 showed for shifty southerly winds at 10-15 with knock-down gusts on Saturday followed by a much calmer NNE wind on Sunday. 20 races were sailed with a single fleet and 2 throwouts were given. Baron Bremer took control early on and held on for the victory. Full results and report will be posted soon.

Thanks to you, Bill Coates, your two wonderful score keepers and all of the other members of your team that made the Wisteria Cup a very enjoyable event. As usual, a most excellent regatta. (And no radio problems at all from anyone!!!)
