THE ENTRY PERIOD ENDS TODAY. ENTRIES POST MARKED BY TODAY WILL BE ACCEPTED OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS.

We are still 3 boats shy of our 52-boat limit. The only way you can enter now is if you can find an all night post office or get to FedEx before 9:00pm. There will not be a standby list so everyone who entered will sail. Anyone trying to enter after today, will need a lot of cash to bribe both me and Rick West.

If you sent in your entry but do not see you name on the list, you better get on the phone to me right away.

This weekend, I will put together an email list for all those entered and the race staff. I will be sending out regular updates as we lead up to the regatta. I will also post the list on the Who's Coming page of the site.

Anybody looking for a room. so far I am running solo from the DC area. My travel plans include the Vic nats in North Carolina on November 6,7,8 and then driving down to florida that sunday eve/mon morn.

Heck if someone wanted to fly down and wanted boat transport I could manage that as well...

there five spots designated as "CS". What are those spots for?

You better get it in the mail today! Mail gets delayed for inspection at the Georgia-Florida line. Joe, is great at posting and will verify the list this next weekend.

Start south tomorrow and enjoy a vacation on the way to the party.

The Hotel for the Nationals in St. Augustine has just lowered their rate for our group. The new per night rate is $85.99 plus 11% tax.

For those of you who have already booked your rooms in the hotel, you will see the savings in your bill at checkout.

If you have not already reserved your room, now is the time to do it. And if any of you book a room at another hotel in the area, you might want to rethink it. The Comfort Suites is the home of the regatta venue. Everything in and around the regatta will be at this hotel. Why make the drive to another hotel 5 or 10 miles away, just to save a couple of dollars?

Also, this discount is only for our group rate. If you booked your room with Expedia or other Internet service, your rate will be different and in some cases higher. You might want to check.
