Regattas off the East Coast

Is there any interest for EC-12 Regattas in Texas? I've been interested in racing EC-12's but am not in the areas with activity.

What part of Texas?, I have some work aquintances in Amarillo and Dallas that are interested in EC12's, but have'nt found much in the class in Texas, but might be willing to get into the sport.
