Does anyone know a source for stick-on sail numbers since GBMY went out of business? My attempts at homemade solutions look, well, homemade.

Homemade stencil works well - I have printed my number out and then copied to cardboard and cut out - I think the font size in MSWord was 110 - and you can then either marker pen the stencil on to the sails or onto signmakers vinyl for cutting out and sticking on.
Alternatively go to your nearest sign shop and they will machine cut you some on the colour of your choice. Example - I have red numbers that was from off cuts of reflective stuff used on fire engines. The sticky side is also white and doesn't show through the sails which makes it very clear what the numbers are on the water.
