I see GBMY's site is down but I have not heard that Don has closed or sold his business. Maybe he is experiencing server problems or is just doing regular maintenence.

I spoke to the new owner last weekend. He said he will be up and running in a few weeks. Similar website, similar product line. He has purchased Don's inventory and will be carrying a complete line.

The real issue with me in the loss of GBMY (and I think I understand the supply problem for Don) is where can the community find SailsEtc items? Moreover, where can they look at the products to visualize their use?

I have been on the SailsEtc site with pop ups allowed and get very few drawings and specifications from the "i" icon link.

Does anyone know where this stuff can be seen? Do we need the catalog?

Some of GBMY's materials are available from Graham Bantock (SAILSetc) in the UK. He does not have a web site as yet; however, he is most willing to send catalogs contact him at 'sales@sailsetc.com'

His service is quite good but the weak dollar makes the prices a bit on the high side.

The other major supplier that GMB had (as I recall) was Peakabe at http://www.worthmarine.com/

Hope this helps a bit

The new website is up. The new owner apparently is using the same the same web/asp pages and order form as GBMY. I ordered some parts and they arrived within a couple of days. I was very pleased.

Confirmed, Alan. Maybe you are a Turncoat in the UK? [:D]

Take a look at Midwest, who has taken over the old GBMY also.

Just got my first order from Midwest. Came earlier than promised. A great start.
