I am curious if anyone knows the answer to this. There are (79 or) 80 available frequencies. Each channel (6 channels on a T6EX) uses one frequency. Thirteen times 6 equals 78. I hope these "facts" are correct.
If there were 14 6 channel 2.4ghz radios being used in a race, would there be a conflict?

No Scott, you are confusing frequency with channel, the channel is the information that is transmitted on the frequency, you can have 10 channels on one frequency or have only one. The Spektrum has a 10 model memory so you can run up to 10 different boats, one at a time, but you have to tell the transmitter witch boat you are running or it will not work. So if we have 80 transmitters that can run 10 different boats, that's 800 boats with out a conflict. Hope this helps

Just so you know, the Jacksonville Regatta had 13 2.4ghz radios in the Gold Fleet and 15 in the Silver fleet and not one conflict. Plus they were all turned on together at times as one fleet was going in and the other coming out.
We had 39 boats all together and all of them were on the water together several times during the weekend. 28 of them 2.4ghz with no conflicts.
