While making the modifications to install a dial for my jib trim I discovered an easier way to lock the gimbal of the rudder stick. Simply drill a 1/16th hole though the top piece into the gimbel and install a #2 button head screw. It's not necessary to build a brace as shown on the EC 12 build site. Works like a charm. Hope this link works. I didn't know where else to put pictures of my mod.
