After building several boats with shock cord for tensioning loose lines, I am considering the self tensioning drums from RMG for my next project. Have any of my comrades used this product or method before? Are you satisfied with the concept? Should I stick with the "proven" shock cord method?
Thanks!

Skip,
There are some words of wisdom on this topic in a previous post on Page 2 of this "Electronics" section titled, "Self Tensioning Spiral Drum on RMG 280DL".
