Smart winch 280DL

My winch stopped working this weekend for no apparent reason. I have tried unsuccessfully to reset it according to my userguide. I am able to get thru step 5, getting 3 short beeps after setting TX endpoints, however when I plug the RX back in (step 6) I get nothing but a continuous series of short beeps and no movement of the sheets .It does not matter whether I move the TX control or not. Any Ideas??

Are you using a Spectrum radio? You might want to go to the RMG site and read up on new ways to program. He has several sets of directions now relating to Spectrum set up.

Thanks Joe. Yes, I'm using a Futaba 2.4 T6EX. I'll see what I can find.
