30zs7 Drum

Postby kermwood » Thu Apr 21, 2005 1:36 pm

The new drum has been around for a little while now and l was wondering if the skippers using it are finding any benifits over the old drum and what those gains are.
l am given to understand that the drum will give slower control close in and more control over the twist.
(l am sure Rick will correct me if thats wrong ! )

Corrections not needed. The drum is smoother (less jerky) than the 26mmsds. But the latter is a good drum and the new for upgrades or in refits. I was about to leave East in February when they came and installed one, as reported in Bulletins on the building site. I am perfectly happy with it.
